How to make vanilla flavored sponge cake

Introduction:

Sponge cakes are delicious deserts that are served after meals. Basically sponge cake is a cake without butter. It’s however an oil-based cake. The oil can be said to replace the butter. Let’s tell a bit of a story before we proceed to making sponge cakes.

Story

I have always been hearing about sponge cakes but it wasn’t something I dabbled into very often. This was simply because it’s called sponge. I felt the cake was going to be spongy and not very nice. Anyway my sister who is also an assistant baker, suddenly became obsessed over baking one. At first I didn’t pay her much heed because I didn’t like spongy cakes. Then I realised it was very tasty and couldn’t help but share the recipe.

Ingredients needed in making sponge cakes
